CONTEST DATES
The contest begins at 7:00:01 p.m. PT on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. PT on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 (“Contest Period”). All entries must be submitted and received within this time period. Any entries not received within this time period will be disqualified. The computer clock of Sponsors’ webmaster is the official timekeeping device of the contest. From March 6, 2013 through March 10, 2012, Dan Dobi of Dobi Media LLC will judge all eligible Submissions (as defined below) and select his favorite entry from all eligible Submissions, according to the criteria outlined in the “Prize and Winner Selection” section below. The winner will contacted by Sponsors to confirm eligibility and obtain releases not later than March 14, 2013.
HOW TO ENTER
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. One Method of Entry. Only one Submission per person/email address/household regardless of entry method will be allowed (for a maximum of one Submission).

During the Contest Period, create a video (no longer than two (2) minutes) about why you should be in the “Please Subscribe” film (“Submission”) and email the link to [email protected]. You must provide your name, telephone number, current city, and age. You must also have a valid e-mail account and YouTube channel in order for your Submission to be eligible. YouTube channels are free, and can be obtained by going on to www.youtube.com and following the onscreen instructions to create a channel. Incomplete Submissions will be disqualified. Copies or other mechanical reproductions, facsimiles, Submissions containing technical or electronic reproductions, Submissions containing attached files are not eligible and will be rejected. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of an entrant, the holder of the e-mail account will be deemed the person who submitted the Submission. Limit one Submission per person/e-mail address. Multiple Submissions from the same person will be disqualified. Sponsors are not responsible for Submissions that are lost, late, misaddressed or misdirected due to technical or computer failures, errors or data loss of any kind, lost or unavailable internet connections, or failed incomplete, garbled or deleted computer or network transmissions, inability to access the website or online service, or any other technical error or malfunction.
The Submission must meet the following content restrictions:
- Submission must NOT contain material which is (or promote activities which are) sexually explicit, obscene, pornographic, violent (e.g., relating to murder, the sales of weapons, cruelty, abuse, etc.), discriminatory (based on race, sex, religion, natural origin, physical disability, sexual orientation or age), illegal (e.g. underage drinking, substance abuse, computer hacking, etc.), offensive, threatening, profane, or harassing or which is otherwise inappropriate in the sole discretion of the Sponsors nor may Submission contain any derogatory references to any Sponsor or any other person or entity; and
- Submission must NOT include mention or performance of any copyrighted material including but not limited to music, films, books, television programming, trademarks, artwork, etc., or identifying descriptions or names of any person other than entrant, whether living or dead or any media property.
Submissions which violate any of these requirements will be deemed ineligible to be included in this contest and receive the Prize and the Submission will be void at the Sponsors’ sole discretion. The Sponsors reserve the right to disqualify, in their sole and absolute discretion, any Submission deemed inappropriate or that does not comply with Sponsors’ respective websites’ terms of use or these Official Rules.
ELIGIBILITY
Void Where Prohibited By Law.
This contest is void where prohibited by law. This contest is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and D.C. who are at least 16 years of age at time of entry. Eligible Entrants who are under the legal age of majority in their state or province of primary residence (“Minor”) must get their parent’s or legal guardian’s permission to participate in this contest. A Minor Entrant will be required to provide parental consent in a form satisfactory to the Sponsors before he or she can be declared a winner and any Prize can be awarded. Sponsors and their parent corporations, subsidiaries, or affiliates, advertising or promotional agencies, and such employees’ immediate family or household members are not eligible to enter or win the contest.
PRIZE AND WINNER SELECTION
All eligible Submissions will be combined into a single pool, and from that pool one (1) winner will be selected solely by Dan Dobi on or about March 12, 2013. All eligible Submissions will be evaluated based solely on the following criteria:
- Creative Content 50%
- Entertainment Value & Appeal: 50%
All decisions of the Sponsors are final on all aspects of the contest.
The winner will be notified that he or she has been selected as a winner by telephone or by e-mail.
If the selected winner is not eligible, declines the Prize, or cannot be contacted within twenty four (24) hours of the initial notification, the Prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate winner selected by Dan Dobi from all remaining valid Submissions.
The winner will receive:
1) The opportunity to have his/her YouTube filmmaking be documented by Dan Dobi
2) The filmed segment will be screened at Playlist Live at the Caribe Royale Hotel, 8101 World Center Drive, Orlando, FL 32821 (Venue of Playlist Live) on either March 22-23rd 2013 (DTB).
3) The segment will be included in the “director’s cut” version of “Please Subscribe” when it is available.
4) The winner will be offered the opportunity to appear at one date of The DigiTour courtesy of Digitour Media, LLC at a location near the winner’s home during DigiTour’s 2013 tour. This prize will be furnished exclusively by Digitour Media LLC. The only responsibility of Dobi Media will be to coordinate contact between the winner and the appropriate representatives of Digitour Media, LLC. In the event the winner is a Minor, he/she must be accompanied by his/her parent/legal guardian at the performance, and may not be eligible to appear if the venue does not permit Minors to enter. Winner is responsible for his/her transportation and expenses in connection with the appearance.

All decisions made by Sponsors shall be final and binding.
The Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, may not be combined with any other offer, and has no cash value. Prize substitution will not be allowed, except at the sole discretion of Sponsors. Sponsors reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value for the Prize. Any unused Prize elements will be forfeited. Any difference between actual value and stated value will not be awarded. Prize is awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied, by Sponsors.
The Prize is not replaceable if lost, stolen, or destroyed, it is not transferable or redeemable for cash, and it may not be substituted for another prize, except at the sole discretion of Sponsors, or as provided in these rules.
The winner (and potential winner’s parent or legal guardian if such potential winner is a Minor) will be required to present valid identification and shall be required to sign a Statement of Eligibility and Liability and all reasonable releases needed in connection therewith within 3 days of winner’s receipt thereof in order to receive the Prize. If the winner does not fulfill these requirements, the Prize will be forfeited.
WARRANTY: It is an express condition of submission and eligibility that you warrant and represent that your Submission is solely owned by you. You further represent and warrant that the Submission and any use thereof by Sponsors in connection with programming, advertising, promotion and publicity, shall not infringe upon any statutory or common law copyright and shall not constitute a defamation, or invasion of the right of privacy or publicity, or infringement of any other right of any kind of any third party.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
If for any reason, the Internet-related portion of this contest is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, tampering, fraud, technical failure, or any other cause which corrupts or threatens the administration, security or integrity of the contest, Sponsors reserve the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate or suspend the contest or any portion of the contest. ANY ATTEMPT TO DAMAGE OR UNDERMINE THE FAIR AND LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS CONTEST WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION FROM THE CONTEST. Information submitted in Internet entries, including entrant’s name, likeness, home town, e-mail address, the Submission etc., may be used by Sponsors for marketing or promotional purposes.
Neither the failure of Sponsors to insist upon or enforce strict performance of any provision of these Official Rules nor the failure, delay or omission by Sponsors in exercising any right with respect to any term of these Official Rules, will be construed as a waiver or relinquishment to any extent of each Sponsor’s right to assert or rely upon any such provision or right in that or any other instance.
By participating in this contest, you agree to release and hold harmless Sponsors, and Sponsors’ respective parent corporations, subsidiaries, and affiliates, and the officers, directors, agents, and employees of all such companies from any and all damages, injuries, claims, causes of action, or losses of any kind resulting from your participation in this contest, and/or your acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any portion of the Prize and any travel related thereto, including without limitation, personal injury, death, property damage, defamation, infringement of intellectual property rights, and claims based on the rights of publicity and privacy.
All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrants and Sponsors in connection with this contest shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions. You hereby submit and consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the State of California and County of Los Angeles, in any action brought to enforce (or otherwise relating to) this contest. You hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of any state or federal court empowered to enforce this agreement in the State of California and County of Los Angeles, and waive any objection thereto on the basis of personal jurisdiction or venue.
By participating in this contest, you also agree to have the Submission, your name, photograph, voice, biographical information, and likeness used in any and all media throughout the universe and in perpetuity for promotional purposes relating to this contest or future similar contest without further compensation or notice, except as prohibited by law.
NATURE OF RELATIONSHIP/WAIVER OF EQUITABLE RELIEF: You acknowledge that, with respect to any claim by you relating to or arising out of a Sponsor’s actual or alleged exploitation or use of any Submission or other material submitted in connection with this contest, the damage, if any, thereby caused to you will not be irreparable or otherwise sufficient to entitle you to seek injunctive or other equitable relief or in any way enjoin the production, distribution, exhibition or other exploitation of the Submission, the “Please Subscribe” film or any other production embodying the Submission, and your rights and remedies in any such event shall be strictly limited to the right to recover damages, if any, in an action at law.
